Alexis Wolze-LeFevre is the founder and editor of The Enoch Observer, an independent news publication based in Enoch, Utah. She holds a degree in Family Services with a minor in Political Science — an academic foundation that informs her focus on the intersection of public policy, human experience, and community well-being.
Her work centers on how government and education systems affect everyday life, with particular attention to local and federal policy, school and family issues, and institutional transparency. Lexy’s reporting brings together research, lived context, and a commitment to journalism that strengthens civic understanding rather than amplifying noise.
Prior to founding The Enoch Observer, Lexy worked in community-facing roles supporting families and students. That experience shaped her belief in public-access journalism and the importance of informed, independent reporting in small-town communities.
“The goal isn’t breaking news — it’s helping people understand what’s happening, why it’s happening, and how it affects them.”
